Our Commitment
The HybrIT team are driven by the belief that good deeds, kindness and respect for the planet can help create a better world for everyone. Through the HybrIT Hope initiative, the team are committed to making meaningful and positive change that supports people and protects the environment at every stage.
The commitment to social impact shapes everything HybrIT does, with ambitious annual goals designed to strengthen contributions to a healthier community, country and world. From empowering local projects to reducing environmental impact, the focus remains on building a brighter and more sustainable future. Net Zero
HybrIT has committed to large scale and continual tree planting to offset all scope 1 and 2 emissions by the end of 2026. This commitment is supported through the ongoing tree planting initiative, careful supplier selection and small but meaningful behavioural changes across the organisation. Work is already underway to identify priorities beyond achieving carbon neutrality.
We are following a 5 step process to sustainability:

Scope 1: Identify emissions and organisational enablement for scope 1 and 2

Make sustainability part of decisions making within all areas of the organisation.

Invest in tree planting: We have supported the planting of trees that will capture 373 tonnes of CO2, through tree-nation.

Understanding, document and track the companies Scope 1 emissions by June 2026.

Committing to an action plan to reduce our scope 1 emissions and offset/plant trees to mitigate unavoidable scope 1 emissions.
Organisational Scope 3 audit & plan

Scoping and boundary setting.

Data collection –direct emissions, purchase/supply chain data, inform key suppliers.

Results and recommendations, reduction planning for HybrIT products and services.

Carbon neutrality options: Adding carbon cost to all quotes and contracts with options for customers to offset.
Scope 1
Green House Gas (GHG) emissions that we make directly — for example while running our boilers and vehicles.

Scope 2
These are the emissions we make indirectly – like the electricity or energy we use for heating and cooling buildings.

Scope 3
All the emissions we are indirectly responsible for, up and down our supply chain. For example, from buying products from our suppliers, and from our products when customers use them. Emissions-wise, Scope 3 is nearly always the biggest and most complicated to calculate.
HybrIT Toy Box
The HybrIT Toy Box initiative was inspired by a personal experience of one of the board members, whose daughter underwent treatment for a serious illness at a local hospital.
During his visits, he noticed that the hospital had very few toys available for children spending long periods receiving care.

From this realisation, the idea for the HybrIT Toy Box was created. Each year, the aim is to collect and donate toys to hospitals and community organisations, bringing joy to children facing difficult times. The goal is to gather toy donations from staff, customers and the wider community to create bundles for local charities, hospitals and organisations in need.

Food Banks
HybrIT is committed to supporting local food banks and helping those facing food insecurity. We recognise the growing need among families struggling to make ends meet, and we’re determined to make a difference. Our goal is to collect as much food as possible from our team, partners, and community.
Every quarter, we gather these donations and deliver them directly to nearby food banks, ensuring they reach those who need them most. Through this initiative, HybrIT aims to be a reliable source of support, providing essentials and compassion to those in our community who need it the most.

Techies Go Green
The HybrIT team are proud to be a member of Techies Go Green.
Techies Go Green is a dynamic network of technology companies united by a shared commitment to climate action. By becoming part of this community, we join other organisations in exchanging knowledge and adopting practices aimed at reducing our carbon footprint and working towards a more sustainable future.
At HybrIT, sustainability is at the heart of our values, and this new membership builds on the work we’ve already started. Initiatives like our collaboration with Tree Nation, where we contribute to reforestation projects, and our continual assessment of eco-friendly business practices demonstrate our commitment to long-term positive change.
As we expand, we’re excited to be growing in ways that align with our environmental goals and contribute to meaningful change. We look forward to working with and learning from the Techies Go Green community to drive impactful sustainability efforts that benefit not just our business but our planet.
Tree Nation
HybrIT is dedicated to making a positive environmental impact through our partnership with Tree Nation. Recognising the urgency of addressing climate change, we’re committed to planting trees to help restore ecosystems and reduce carbon emissions. Each quarter, we fund tree-planting efforts via Tree Nation, supporting reforestation projects globally. By contributing to these initiatives, HybrIT aims to create a healthier planet and a sustainable future. This commitment reflects our belief in taking real action to protect the environment and leave a lasting legacy for future generations.
