How it works
Teams Direct Routing is a feature of Microsoft Teams that enables organisations to connect their own Session Border Controllers (SBCs) to Microsoft's Phone System in Office 365, allowing them to make and receive calls to and from external phone networks. This feature allows organisations to use their own telephony infrastructure with Microsoft Teams, rather than relying solely on Microsoft's Calling Plans, which can offer cost savings and more flexibility in terms of carrier selection and feature availability.
With Teams Direct Routing, organisations can leverage their existing investments in telephony while also taking advantage of the collaboration and communication capabilities of Microsoft Teams.
The HybrIT call plan is a per-user monthly service and includes all calls to UK landline, mobile and 03 numbers. Other calls are charged per our published rate card.
